Military-Connected Families

Welcome Military Families to MVMS!

At Medina Valley Middle School, we take great care and pride in serving our families and students with a high quality and rigorous curriculum while ensuring that our military-connected students and families receive the support they need to help ease the the challenges associated with transfers, deployments, and other situations that may arise. Our Campus-Based Liaison is the primary point of contact for our military families and students throughout the enrollment and exit process. The military liaison helps identify military connected families and works with school staff to connect students and families to resources and support.

Medina Valley Middle School launched their first Student 2 Student program this year. Student 2 Student (S2S) is a peer-to-peer student led program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, ease their transition to our campus, and provide academic support.

Students strive to make a positive impact by using the S2S six core values: Leadership, Academics, Services, Climate and Culture, Relationships, and 100% Acceptance.

The campus-based S2S team:

  • Provides every new student with a school tour
