Medina Valley ISD named Doug Wozniak as the Executive Director of Safety and Operations

With the steady increase in enrollment, Medina Valley Independent School District is taking a pivotal step in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students and staff with the appointment of Doug Wozniak.

Wozniak’s hire was approved by the Medina Valley ISD Board of Trustees on December 18, 2023. In his position, Wozniak will oversee health and safety, network systems, transportation and facilities. 

“It is an honor to be part of the Medina Valley ISD family,” said Wozniak. “I look forward to working closely with all stakeholders to support our campuses and to continue to put our students at the center of everything we do."

Wozniak comes to the district with more than 17 years of experience in leadership roles in education and a wealth of knowledge relating to school health and safety. He was most recently the director of school safety at San Marcos Consolidated ISD.
